Construction elevators, also known as construction elevators, are elevators hung on the exterior walls of newly built buildings. This type of elevator is different from hydraulic elevators, and 90% of people are confused. Today, let's talk about the differences between these two types of elevators and introduce the differences in operation between the two?
There are many types of hydraulic elevators, but here they are just a general term, including bracket curved arm type, guide rail type, scissor type, and sleeve type hydraulic elevators.
① The hydraulic elevator is driven by hydraulic pressure and equipped with supporting equipment such as a hydraulic station.
② Hydraulic elevators come in various forms, have a wide range of applications, are movable and adjustable.
③ Use according to safety regulations and regulations, do not overload.
Construction elevators, also known as construction elevators, are mostly driven directly by electric motors, using gears or wire ropes to lift the car. Building elevators have high requirements for carrying people. Here are some precautions for construction elevators:
① When the deviation between the power supply voltage value and the rated voltage value of the construction elevator exceeds ± 5%. When the total power supply is less than the specified value of the construction elevator, the construction elevator shall not be used.
② Clear safety warning signs should be set up within the operating range of the construction elevator, and safety protection should be done in the centralized operation area. The user unit should take corresponding safety protection measures for construction elevators based on different construction stages, surrounding environment, seasons, and climate. Within a horizontal distance of 5m around the foundation of the construction elevator, it is not allowed to excavate well trenches, stack flammable and explosive materials, and other debris.
③ When the building exceeds 2 floors, a protective shed should be erected above the ground passage of the construction elevator. When the height of the building exceeds 24m, a double-layer protective shed should be set up.
④ Construction elevators installed in dark areas or night shifts should be equipped with bright floor number signs throughout the entire journey. During nighttime construction, there should be sufficient lighting in the work area, and the lighting should meet the requirements of the current industry standard "Technical Specification for Temporary Electricity Safety at Construction Sites" JGJ 46.
⑤ Construction elevators that implement multi shift operations should implement a handover system, and the handover driver should fill out the handover record form in accordance with Appendix D of this regulation. The driver who takes over the shift should conduct a pre shift inspection and confirm that there are no errors before starting the machine for operation.
⑥ Before using the construction elevator for the first time every day, the driver should lift the lifting cage 1m to 2m above the ground and stop to check the reliability of the brake. When problems are found, they should be repaired and qualified before being shipped.
⑦ Drivers are not allowed to leave the construction elevator without authorization during working hours. When there are special circumstances that require leaving, the construction elevator should be parked at the lowest level, the power should be turned off, and the cage door should be locked.
⑧ When transporting melted asphalt, strong acids, strong alkalis, solutions, flammable materials, or other special materials, relevant technical departments should conduct a risk assessment and take safety measures, and written disclosure should be made to the construction elevator driver and relevant operators before transportation.
⑨ When the material transport trolley enters the cage, the concentrated load at the wheels should not exceed the allowable bearing capacity of the bottom plate of the cage and the landing platform.
Hydraulic elevators are simple, convenient, and easy to operate. Many devices are relatively small and movable, not as cumbersome and complex as construction elevators
